Series Note:
This series, the Princess of Wales Sarasvati Bhavana Texts, was published by the Government Sanskrit College in Benares [Varanasi], India. The general editor was Gopi Natha Kaviraja [also known as Gopinath Kaviraj], M.A., who was the Principal of that College in the period 1923-37.

The series is now known as the Sarasvati Bhavana Granthamala.

The Government Sanskrit College was founded in 1791. In 1958 the College merged with Sampurnanand Sanskrit University.
