PHAIDON POCKET SERIES
Series Note: This hardback book series was published under two imprints: London, Phaidon Press Ltd. of London and Phaidon Publishing Inc. of New York.

According to the verso page of a copy of The Civilization of the Renaissance in Italy that I have viewed, the book and its dust wrapper were printed in England. The title page of that book showed the imprint: New York, Phaidon Publishers Inc., by which we can infer that the book was to be shipped to the United States for sale there.

Format: Hardback bound in red cloth printed with silver typography and silver and black decorations. Illustrated dust wrappers with a decorative frame enclosing the illustration on the front panel.
